Light in the Bell Tower

I spent a few days in San Antonio with my husband while he attended the Texas Music Educators Association conference. On one particular day while my husband spent all day in meetings, I wandered around three of the San Antonio missions. This is the front facade of Mission Espada. This mission was moved from East Texas to the San Antonio River in 1731. The mission feels as remote today as it did in the 1700's.
